  • Dear …
While Victor was healthy, this was one of his favorite songs. He always said CdB had a „beautiful singing voice“.
Once he was sick, he hated that song. He didn’t just hate it, it made him cry. We were never able to understand what about it was so terrible for him, but we noticed he was extremely sensitive to any opera type of singing, any higher pitch at all. So this song is bittersweet for us. Mostly, it reminds me of him sitting in his carseat, singing along, enjoying it all. And if he would hear you sing it, when he was healthy, he’d say YOU have a beautiful singing voice. He’d think that this is a very cool cover of this song. Thank you for sharing, Sabine. And it didn’t go unnoticed that it was THAT song that you chose to show us first.

  • Thank you very much for your kind words, Julie. I can imagine that every memory must be touching, challenging, hard for you… No, I probably cannot imagine because I haven‘t gone through the „same“ experiences, but I can try to imagine, and I feel with others a lot. Victor is forever in my heart because when I see the photos, I know that he was a special boy. And when I say „special“, I mean it.
